how’d this come about, and why so late, seeing how Good Girls dropped months ago?

well, i’m working on dropping a remix project with my man 50 grand DJ Jamad and i was going through my stacks of acapellas and came across this one. don’t really know how i  missed it, but there it was, asking me to give it a listen and see what could be done with it.

i dropped it into Traktor and started mixing some of my instrumentals under it, and one stuck. problem was, i named the rendered file something other than what i had named the original beat, so when i went to look for it in the machine, of course it was nowhere to be found. i got bored looking for that beat, so i started auditioning other ones, and after some fiddling, some building and some tweaking, this came about.

stay tuned to the blog for more info on me & Jamad’s project. should be available real real soon. lemme know what you think of the remix? i bounce my shoulders when the beat drops, the hallmark reaction of a success!

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky.
