_PALM PRE – VERY NICE (AND ABOUT TIME, TOO.)

so, after 15 years of the same old same old, Palm hit CES earlier today with a new OS. and what better way to show off your new OS than with fancypants hardware to run it on?  

diehard Palm heads like myself have been waiting for/begging/threatening Palm to step boldly into the new millenium, and it appears that-albeit inexplicably late- Palm has responded and woken itself out of it’s technological slumber to offer a viable challenge in the market it quite literally created.

looks like an upgrade to the touch pro’d run me $250. i’m gonna hold out for the HD and hope it won’t be THAT much more.

The Ulap Theme

Ulap is the theme used over at the Filipino Design & Creativity Blog: Plus63.net. Ulap is"cloud" in Filipino, it's a fitting name for a theme that believes content is king. Whites, light greys and blacks are the main swatches of the theme - a take on Cirrus, Cumulus and Nimbus clouds. The basic blue for the links represents the sky. The theme was created by Val Villar & Dan Matutina, with an Attribution Creative Commons License.
